July 2023. InSite Commercial Realty is pleased to announce the successful sale-leaseback transaction for Shore Community Services’ 35,000sf Training Center in Morton Grove, IL. The client’s goals were to accommodate better the space needs of its vocational and job training programs, create a state-of-the-art training center for its employees and clients, and free up capital to address the organization’s longer-term goals.
“Our original strategy was to relocate into a new building after a sale,” says Alexis Alm, Shore’s CEO. “However, when presented with the opportunity to remain in and update our existing facility, the significant advantages for our clients and workforce were immediately apparent to us.”
Since 1951, Shore’s mission has been to improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through educational, residential, vocational and other related programs provided with community integrated supports and services. Shore plans to unveil its innovative design and capabilities by the end of 2023.
